Yesterday’s prompt at Simple Scrapper was “the silver lining.“

As far as photo prompts go, this wasn’t as easy as the last couple… But after mulling it over yesterday I decided that my darling daughter was definitely my silver lining. The silver lining of what you ask?!

Um. Well…

{The Silver Lining} after HOURS and HOURS of labor (rather than the entire story, I will let you know that I went into labor on a Sunday evening around 6pm and this little miracle didn’t appear until 9:33 on TUESDAY morning!). {The Silver Lining} after HOURS and HOURS of pushing (three). Followed by a C-Section which was rather quick, but felt like it took HOURS to stitch me back up. And after that I still had to wait HOURS and HOURS to hold my baby girl.

But… when she was finally in my arms, it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!

My Silver Lining

This photo was taken immediately after the c-section, before whisking her off and stitching me up. It was the first glimpse of my beautiful baby girl.
